Deadbeat is Scott Monteith (Montreal), that will arrive from Berlin to offer a live set full of dub textures, darkness and electronic minimalism. We will be able to hear tracks from his latest album “Drawn & Quartered” (BLKRTZ, 2011).

After the live set, Beattaster will go out on the town. The venue chosen for this occasion will be Siroco of Madrid. Where on the same date the 11th of February Deadbeat will offer us a dj set, completely different to the live Web cast. On the night of Beattaster at Siroco we will also be able to enjoy sets from Pelacha, Vasco Ispirian and Nono. From 00:00 CET onwards.

DeadBeat has released under important labels such as  Cynosure, Musique Risquée, Scape, y Spectral to name a few. His work is acclaimed and respected by the most important specialized media sector, and has played at major festivals of electronic music such as Sonar in Barcelona, Transmediale in Berlin o Mutek in Montreal.

He worked until 2003 at Applied Acoustics Systems, creators of some of the best software synthesizers that are used by programs such as Albleton Live. Although now he is dedicated more to create his own music, this labor experience has left him with passion for technological development applying it to electronic music creation.
